Job Responsibilities

As a mobile massage therapist with Massage Club, you’ll have the opportunity to perform professional-quality massages tailored to each client’s needs. Core responsibilities include:

  • Traveling to Client Locations: Provide services in a variety of settings, from private homes and hotels to corporate offices and special events.
  • Delivering a Range of Massages: Offer relaxation, therapeutic, or deep tissue massages, and more. Assess each client’s needs, inquire about medical history, and deliver personalized care to achieve their wellness goals.
  • Providing Your Own Equipment: Bring your massage table or chair, sheets, pillows, oils, and creams for each session.
  • Ensuring Client Satisfaction: Maintain professionalism, punctuality, and high-quality customer service to ensure clients leave relaxed and satisfied.

Required Qualifications

For the United States:

  • Completion of an approved massage therapy program.
  • If required by your state, proof of passing licensing exams, such as the Massage and Bodywork Licensing Examination (MBLEx) or the National Certification Examination for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB).
  • Continuing education may be necessary to renew licensure in some states.

For Canada:

  • Completion of an approved massage therapy program.
  • Proof of registration or certification in good standing with your provincial governing body, such as:
    • College of Massage Therapists of B.C. (CCHPBC) for British Columbia.
    • College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) for Ontario.
    • Massage Therapy Association of Manitoba (MTAM) for Manitoba.
    • Federation Quebecois des Massotherapeutes (FQM) for Quebec.
